Here we are with our Thursday appointment.
What are the materials and shapes that characterize the Bohochic style?
Meanwhile, the major contaminations come from the Gypsy, Hippie, Ethnic, Tribal style.
We certainly find in the wardrobe of a lover of this style many garments made of natural fibers, Cotton ( in the various processes especially cotton canvas and denim, lace), Silk, Linen ( in the various fabric processes, string, rope), Wool Boiled wool.
This is because by linking to the Hippie style, as a very important principle there is respect for nature and the animal world (we will talk about this later in the section "WHO DRESSES BOHOCHIC?")
As far as leather and leather accessories are concerned, aluminium, silver dominate the scene.
Furs also appear but ecological.
All these materials blend perfectly with unexpected mixes . What I love most about this style is the very fact of distancing itself so much from the conventions of fashion and from conventions in general . Silk blends with jeans, jeans with lace, rope with aluminum, leather with "lace".
Here with regard to the latter, we must say that the crochet, knitting and bobbin lace work are very important in defining this style.
Since my mom is a freak she must have influenced me!!!!
Pom Pom, Tassels, Balze, Rouge, Piume certainly make the Bohemian garments even more unique, but the real protagonists are the FRINGES .
The fringes, for the Boho style, look good on everything! Obvious with the due elegance that distinguishes it.
But in what form do we find all these mergers?
Definitely Wide! Do not miss the Gonnelloni Gitani, Maxidess, Shirts worn as dresses, Pullovers larger than one size perhaps cinched at the waist with a belt or used as a dress made longer by a maxi shirt that protrudes, long coats to the ground in straight cut , Kimono cuts ,
Unisex T-Shirts, Long draped skirts , Palazzo trousers, Dungarees.
I adore this style precisely because it is anything but obvious, in fact, next to the wide and long shapes contrast more skimpy garments, we find denim shorts combined with blazers and ankle boots, under a croptop, one or more silver chains Indian (A strong contribution in the bohochic style comes from the ethnic style, especially when talking about accessories!)
at the neck sleeves rolled up and go with bracelets!
This contrast in a single garment is the evergreen flared trousers.
The examples to give would be really endless and I tell you the truth I don't have a favorite outfit in this style, I love to change, I love to experiment.
And you? Do you recognize yourself in this style?
